Brewers are the UK’s largest independent supplier of paints and other decorative products. Brewers decorator centres stock an vast range of the trade paints and supplies for home decorators and tradesman alike, along a large collection of wallpapers in any colour or style you could as for. Brewers contacted Focus Group looking to improve their in store experience and streamline everyday operations.

The Challenge

To create a scalable, secure and compliant network providing an omnichannel experience for customers, across more than 150 sites. Brewers were looking to streamline all of their services and provide a better in-store experience for their customers, including provisioning, PCI compliance and in-store business broadband for WiFi connectivity, Brewers approached Focus Group to help design seamless in-store shopping experiences.

The Solution

Full-stack Cisco Meraki infrastructure enabling enterprise grade wireless security for retail customers, suppliers and staff, all traversing across a brand-new SD-WAN, PCI compliant network.

The Results

The new SD-WAN infrastructure has decoupled Brewers from their ISP enabling instant configuration changes to be made without the need of involving the provider and a long and expensive change control process. The highly flexible and easy-to-configure platform provides a highly responsive network that can cope with fast service activation and provisioning, while delivering the end-to-end cyber security and performance.
