Based on the requirements of Glebe School, our team supplied and installed a 3CX phone system in the cloud with 4 SIP trunks to ensure the school was future-proofed.
3CX is an extremely cost-effective system with a robust reputation for its dependability, high call quality and flexible scalability, with the power to support multiple, simultaneous calls within an educational environment.
To ensure a seamless and swift transition, our team configured the system, migrating the school's existing SIP lines and DDIs to the new platform, and placed a failover solution on-site, meaning if the school lost its internet connection, internal communications - like paging to all handsets - could still be made.
Through this transition, Glebe took this opportunity to increase the number of handsets it utilised, placing a handset in every classroom to support a lockdown, an emerging, imperative requirement in recent years for schools.
Now, the admin team can put the whole school into lockdown with a single call, announcing information over all handsets at the same time. Through this installation, Glebe Primary School also benefited from several extra features like call recording and mobility-detailed reporting.
