Brooks Macdonald has been a Focus Group customer for many years, trusting us to ensure they have a robust, modern and future-proof technology strategy. As their operating model has changed with an increase in hybrid working and heightened cyber security risks, they trusted us once again to implement a strategy that would deliver value, agility and performance.

The solution

First, we designed and delivered a cloud-based Cisco Meraki LAN and Wi-Fi solution with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN and further security for remote access through ZScaler’s ZIA and ZPA cloud security solutions. This now enables the IT team to remotely configure and manage the entire network through the Meraki dashboard, and gives users secure remote access to all their resources, wherever they work.

We also manage the group-wide mobile estate and hosted telephony platform for over 700 users, which is now MiFID II compliant, with disaster recovery delivered through MyInbound - all of which is fully integrated into Salesforce and Microsoft Teams to optimise productivity and the user experience.

The results

As a result of our strategic partnership, Brooks Macdonald now has a robust infrastructure that has fortified security across their network, cloud environments and collaboration tools. Enhanced remote access to resources has created a consistent user experience for hybrid workers and increased productivity.
