Hydrogen Group were familiar with our services as it’s preferred telephony provider and subsequently approached us to tender for a long-term contract for IT infrastructure and 24/7 global support as their strategic IT partner. They required a huge digital transformation with the need for business agility, remote desktop functionality and advanced cloud features to ensure business growth and success.

The solution

There was a requirement to support and maintain a complex array of portals and other software applications which meant understanding the individual systems roles in day-to-day business and making provisions to maintain them at an optimum level. Focus Group set up a bespoke combination of private cloud infrastructure and public cloud services - utilising Azure AD, OneDrive and SharePoint within Microsoft’s 365 Business Plan to optimise business functionality and remove operational issues.

Implementation of a ‘work from anywhere’ infrastructure
Real-time provisioning and engineer response

Focus Group’s fluid and transparent managed services operate smoothly and our recommendation to change Hydrogen Group’s Microsoft Office 365 plan, along with the consolidation of licenses has resulted in a huge business cost-saving of £5,000 per month.
