Focus Group is continuing its bold buy-and-build strategy with its eighth successful acquisition of the year confirmed today. In its most recent move, the leading provider of business technology has announced the takeover of Entropie, a Buckinghamshire-based provider of voice and data solutions.

Entropie’s established base in Milton Keynes will further bolster the group’s presence in the central regions. Sitting in close proximity to the offices of Boxx Communications, the comms and connectivity specialists acquired in October, Focus Group will be in a strong position to scale up service delivery across the area and tap into new markets.

Bringing a set of complementary capabilities, a proficient team and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience to the table, the acquisition underpins Focus Group’s ambition to provide best-in-class solutions and expertise across the UK, whilst ensuring its customers receive the attention they need at a local level.

Tom Jones, M&A at Focus Group said: "It’s been an incredibly busy year for Focus Group and we’re delighted to be sharing more positive news. Entropie is a business that has all the characteristics we look for when we’re on the acquisition trail – reputation, solid performance, similar product set with high-recurring revenues and a customer-centric approach - so we’re delighted to welcome the team on board."

Hetan Mistry, Managing Director at Entropie commented: "After 24 years of building Entropie into a respected leader in our industry, we are thrilled to embark on the next chapter of our journey. We are confident that joining Focus Group represents the best path forward for our future. Their track record of success assures us that they are the ideal partner to help us continue our legacy of excellence."
