C.S.G Pollitt Limited is a family-run business which has been trading for over 75 years. Located in the Marsh Barton trading estate, they provide a fantastic range of quality new and used cars in the Exeter area whilst delivering excellent customer service at the same time.

The challenge

C.S.G. Pollitt wanted to replace the ageing BT telephone system they had been leasing. Instead, they were looking for an on-premise solution with eight extensions, including cordless handsets to accommodate their mobile sales team. That's where we stepped in.

Having visited the site to confirm their exact needs, our expert recommended an Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Office solution. This ever-evolving telephone system is perfect for smaller businesses. OmniPCX is a robust and reliable solution, with additional features and functions achieved through software upgrades.

As well as ringing reception, incoming calls can now be delivered to the new cordless handsets. This means the sales staff should never miss a call that could lead to a potential sale!

On top of that, any calls that are unanswered will go to the voicemail system built into the solution. Plus, this is integrated with C.S.G. Pollitt’s email accounts, so any voice messages can be left as audio file attachments on emails for convenient retrieval.
