Katie, our Chief People Officer, brings a wealth of experience in building and scaling high performance teams with a particular focus on the Fintech, Finance and Tech sectors. Her expertise lies in aligning HR strategies with overarching business objectives, driving workforce performance and cultivating inclusive, dynamic workplace cultures.
Before joining Focus Group in early 2025, Katie was a key member of the Executive team at APEXX Global. Prior to that, she provided strategic consultancy to some of Europe’s most forward-thinking fintech companies. Her extensive international HR experience spans across Europe, the USA and Asia, offering valuable insights into global talent management and compliance.
At Focus Group, Katie is instrumental in advancing our high performance culture, refining talent acquisition and retention strategies and spearheading strategic HR initiatives that underpin our ambitious growth.
In her spare time, Katie regularly speaks at events in Tech & HR, with a passion for supporting women in tech and supporting their growth into leadership roles.
On a personal note, Katie enjoys exploring the world with her family, entertaining friends, crafting cocktails, and practising hot Pilates, though she wisely keeps these activities separate!
