Focus Group completes full Cloudflare specialisation trilogy

Focus Group has achieved Cloudflare's Application Security (AppSec) Specialisation, becoming one of the only Cloudflare partners globally to hold all three of the company's elite specialisations: Networking, Zero Trust, and Application Security.

Across EMEA, APJC, and AMER, we believe no other partner currently holds the complete set.

What the Cloudflare specialisation programme means

Cloudflare's Specialisation Programme is designed to recognise partners who have gone beyond basic accreditation. To earn a specialisation, a partner must demonstrate certified technical expertise, a track record of successful customer deployments, and the capability to architect, implement, and support solutions at a high level.

The three specialisations each address a distinct layer of modern security and networking:

Networking

validates expertise in Cloudflare's network-as-a-service capabilities, including SD-WAN, Magic WAN, and global traffic management. For customers, this means infrastructure that is faster, more resilient, and built on Cloudflare's global edge network rather than legacy hardware.

Zero Trust

recognises capability in Cloudflare Access, Gateway, and SASE architecture. It covers the shift away from traditional perimeter-based security towards an identity-first model where no user or device is trusted by default. For businesses managing hybrid workforces and cloud environments, this is foundational.

Application Security (AppSec)

is the most recently awarded specialisation and covers Cloudflare's Web Application Firewall (WAF), DDoS protection, Bot Management, and API security. As application-layer attacks become one of the most common and damaging threat vectors, this is increasingly where security conversations begin.
