Brighton & Hove Albion sign up Focus Group as key sponsor for 2022/23
The new agreement for the 2022-23 season will see the Sussex-based tech company become platinum lounge sponsors, as well as continue as the club’s official telecoms and IT partner.
As a long-time partner and supporter of Brighton & Hove Albion, Focus Group have – behind the scenes - been delivering match-winning technology to underpin the club’s exponential growth.
The tech company has, over the last 20 years, used its expertise in digital transformation to improve the way Albion engages with fans by harnessing the power of high-performance connectivity to deliver free stadium WiFi, deployed a secure network infrastructure and implemented a future-proof telecommunications solution.
For the 2022/23 season, Focus Group is looking forward to taking on a more visible role with the club as sponsor of the Focus Lounge, creating brand exposure and new opportunities for the Sussex-based tech company.
Brighton & Hove Albion’s Head of Commercial, Russell Wood said: “We are delighted to welcome Focus as one of our new Platinum Lounge sponsors. Focus have been our stadium IT and WIFI provider since moving to the Amex in 2011 and we look forward to continuing this close relationship for the next three years.”
Ralph Gilbert, Co-founder & Director at Focus Group, added: “Brighton & Hove Albion is a club with huge history, and we are proud to be part of both its growth and its future. Our technological expertise has helped put the Amex stadium at the forefront of digital transformation and we’re delighted to be continuing to deliver the technology to keep the club and its fans connected.
“I was lucky enough to spend some time with the executive team at Albion this summer, learning more about the club’s core values and its focus on the community, so we’re excited to also now bring the Focus Group brand to life as official sponsor of the Focus Lounge and wish the club every success through the 2022-23 season.”
